Super Seal HVACRJul 20, 2008

Great product. See the manufacturer's website for video on how to properly install - http://www.cliplight.com/hvacr/. I'm not an HVAC expert, just a homeowner. I paid $97 at an HVAC store for this and got it much cheaper on Amazon (~$55). It stopped the seasonal leak in both my units (20 years old each) - one can per system. My HVAC guy recommended it to me after having success himself and receiving similar reports from others.
Wear safety glasses and gloves, just in case.

WorksAug 18, 2011
By 1Boyand4 Girls Works! I had a 15 year old 5 ton system with a slow leak. I had it serviced 4 times over a year thru my home warranty. I finally convinced the service technician to check for a leak. He found a leak in the evaporator. Despite having the home warranty it was still going to cost me $1400 on frivolous non-coverables. Outraged that I was going to have to pay that much out of pocket I decided to do some research online. After finding a couple positive reviews of super seal HVACR I decide to give it a try. Glad I did as it immediately sealed the leak/s. The AC has been running great with no leaks for over a month. Super seal saved me $1400.

Other leading brand (green can) -- several installs -- would not do the job. This did in one shot. Finally cool again.

By Crocket We have yet to get into the really warm part of spring and summer, but so far this appears to be holding. Will recheck pressures as we get into the real heat and see if it holds.
