POS micron gaugeMay 01, 2012
By Bailey I picked a Supco micron gauge from a local HVAC supply house after my Yellow Jacket stopped working (YJ was about 5-6 years old). after doing a triple vacuum i could get the gauge down to about 450 microns, but as soon as i valved off the vaccum pump the Supco would slowly rise to 12000 mircons, i assumed i had a leak so i pressure tested again 500psi 24hrs with no drop, i changed the oil in my vacuum pump and tried again, still the same thing. i tried hooking the Supco to a new 36" heavy dudy hose and still getting the samething, i returned the gauge and was told the fitting inside the gauge was leaking from the store rep. He replaced that one, the replacement one worked for about 3 weeks (about 10-12 jobs), now it reads 1750 microns with nothing hooked to it, tried cleaning the sensor per the book, still the same thing, what a waste of $90.

Very DisappointedMay 30, 2012
By mike I ordered this Supco VG64 through Amazon, getting ready for the summer season. I didn't have a need to use it for a couple months. The good is that it does show vacuum (I assume accurately). But the third time I used it I found as soon as you valve off the vacuum pump, the microns slowly start to rise beyond 1200 microns. I connected it directly to my vacuum pump using a DV-29 micron gauge blank off kit and the same thing happens. I cleaned it as directed but that didn't change a thing. This is worse tool I have ever owned what a piece of junk. I should have ordered another Yellow Jacket gauge.

Poor quality.Apr 28, 2012
By Edward I got this gauge and only used less than 10 times, then it broke down. I can not understand a item with such high price has so bad quality!

Good for one time use?Aug 26, 2012
By T. Berry I purchased my first one, about 30 some odd days later it failed. I purchased another, and 36 days later it also has failed. Both give horribly inaccurate readings.
I thought the first was a possible fluke, but given my experience with 2 failures and the other reviews, I would not purchase another.
The price is too good to be true - you do, in fact, get what you pay for.
