DID NOT RECEIVE THE PART I ORDEREDJan 16, 2012

I was shipped part # 41-1403 instead of the 41-403's that I ordered from "PARTSHOUSE". The "PARTSHOUSE" rep has since told me that the 41-1403 is a replacement and it holds up better than the 41-403. The 41-1403 is wider and it is much tighter fitting into the mounting bracket that holds the igniter in the furnace. Needing to get the heat going again immediately to prevent freezing pipes etc., I went ahead and installed it. It must have shifted slightly when it got hot after 3 or 4 ignitions and it shorted out against the mounting bracket causing the furnace igniter control board to blow. This REALLY put me in a serious bind! I really can't honestly rate the part as bad since I was shipped the wrong part altogether. I'm sure this part is fine but you must be aware of the fact that you may not get the exact part that you order and this may couse you much more serious problems than you already are facing if you are not real careful. Shipping from "PARTSHOUSE" was quick and after some initial poor interaction with their customer service they did act to try to remedy the situation somewhat.
