 Furnace blowerNov 10, 2012

The furnace blower I ordered was great except for one big thing. The female plug on the blower that connects to the furnace was backwards. It was very frustrating and upsetting. Our old blower went out in a very cold spell here in Iowa, with tempuratures dipping well below freezing. We were so happy to get the blower and then to find the plug ends switched was heart wrenching. However, our very handy handyman, a.k.a. dad, had to fiddle and widdle a few things, and we were able to get it working without shipping it back. However, we did so at risk of voiding any warranty, but our more neccesary need of keeping our children warm prevailed. If one who did not have any electrical knowledge, like me, then the blower would have had to been shipped back to be replaced. This is the first problem that I have ever had ordering anything with amazon. Thankfully, we were able to get heat, and the part is working great!!! Also, we did receive the blower in a very timely manner!

I was leary of buying a crucial furnace part online, but this unit was very wellmade, and runs better than the original Lennox part did. Fast delivery, too.

I installed this on a g26 series 100000btu furnace and it is the identical unit that a lenox dealer will tell you that it is a imitation or fake. The item was shipped in a fasco box, I,m guessing third party dealer buys these directly from fasco and will ship them to your home, excellent deal. local lenox dealer told me that only their oem item would work and these were fakes, not true. These are the original oem assemblies for one fourth the price. If you take some paint thinner on a rag and rub the electric motor on you old assembly, you will see, that it is originally a fasco product.
Shame on you Lenox and Thank you Fasco for making these available.
Lenox reminds me of the people that run the shady games sections of the old time carnivals.

Ordered from the Electric Motor Warehouse (via Amazon), and got in less that a week, for $179 including shipping (to Canada), and was shipped via Purolator courier! Note that the default blower choice isn't the cheapest option for Canada (including shipping).
Worked perfectly in my Lennox 90UGFA2. Comes with a new foam rubber blower to furnace gasket.
4 screws, a gear clamp, and 2 electrical connectors (one click to fit, and one a screw lug). You need to pop the air restrictor off of the middle of the air intake of the original blower (if you don't, too much air for combustion, and condensate drain starts making gurgling noise.
Won't miss the constant whine of the original (dying) blower.
