Defective productSep 29, 2012
By bwkohler I experienced the first problem right out of the box after installing brand new batteries. The tachometer used up all the batteries after only 2.5 hours (1 day) of use. I replaced the batteries and it seemed to work fine until a few minutes later. The screen now displays an ERROR code and there is no lazer. Hopefully you have better experience when purchasing this tool. I hope the one I recieved was just part of a bad batch. I'm going to return this product and get the same one and I hope I don't have the same experience.
I hope Amazon will ship me out another Field piece SRPM2 Tachometer and I will give them this one back.
