Used as a Preventative MeasureMay 18, 2012

Added this Can to one of my smaller units. You will have to be patient to have the whole can empty into the system. Took about 1/2 hr to fully empty. I put it into an R22 system that was 9 years old and needed Freon. After adding the correct amount of R22 to the system and checking the pressures that they were correct for the ambient air temperature, I added the product. It had a slightly exotherm (produced heat in the can) during emptying and mixing with the Freon. The stuff is supposed to just circulate in your unit until there is a leak in the system. It them polymerizes at the leak sight and seals the leak. The can has a moisture capture component along with the sealer. So if you have any trace of moisture in the system, it should get rid of it. I hope it works after extended time and seals any leaky Schrader valve O-rings or micro leaks in the copper line set and evaporator/condenser coils. Will write up more about it if I have a problem and it doesn't work as advertised.
